Celebrating Australia’s not-for-profit technology heroes
Australia’s best and brightest in not-for-profit technology and innovation were celebrated last week as part of the Australian Not-for-Profit Technology Awards in front of a record audience at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The annual awards, sponsored by Oracle NetSuite, took place as part of the Connecting Up and Infoxchange Transform Conference 2019, and saw volunteers, accidental IT people, Indigenous storytellers, innovators and government agencies recognised across nine awards.
The Australian Not-for-Profit Technology Awards are a key element of the annual Connecting Up Conference, which this year was focused on digital transformation within the not-for-profit sector and offered a packed program of world-class speakers and masterclasses.
The award winners were decided by a panel of expert judges:
- David Crosbie (CEO, Community Council for Australia)
- Rita Cattoni (General Manager, Indigenous Community Television)
- Tianji Dickens (Microsoft Philanthropies Lead, Microsoft Australia)
- David Spriggs (Group CEO, Infoxchange and Connecting Up)
- Sandra Vallance (Acting CEO, Connecting Up)
Our congratulations go to all the winners and runners up on their incredible work in the sector. We would also like to thank our judges, awards sponsors and all the attendees for helping us celebrate the work of these inspiring people and organisations.
